State of Origin Review

Oh Bugger... what a dismal new south wales display...
What to say besides... it was luck...
New South Wales started on the wrong foot and did not fully recover from the opening kick off. Players were almost noticed to be intimidated by the crowd or somewhat by the grunt and fight of the Queensland forwards who tended to overpower the whole of the game providing plenty of big hits and hard straight runs.
The final score saw Queensland dominate 30-6 with the Blues gaining a late try to put some respect to their name.
Bookmakers have already jumped on the Maroons' bandwagon with Centrebet placing Queensland at $1.75 favourites to win the decider and the Blues $2.00 underdogs. A complete opposite to last nights betting preceedings.
Where the Blues relaxed after leading by the same margin at halftime in Origin I, the home side went on with the job to the delight of a capacity crowd of 52,468.
Only time will tell what Melbourne brings...
