The chances for the NSW Waratahs front row making the test team for the first game against England have jumped up after training yesterday.
It seeems as though the third placed super 14 side for 2006 could be rewarded heavily ans hooker Adam Freier and loose-head Benn Robinson were both packing into the scrum at training, with Freier also sharing the throwing duties.
However, it is not certain that many players from the 3rd placed side will take positions within the Aussie 22 as skill and experience from around other teams are considered highly.
The Scrum intends however, to form a big part within the first test as Englands form previously toppled over our own. So this year they intend to field a bigger team, with weight and size a certainty to deter the opposition.
Lote Tuqiri played briefly at outside-centre, while Mat Rogers and Gene Fairbanks were the main inside-centres with Scott Staniforth spending much of his time on the wing and Sam Norton-Knight at five-eighth.
Only time will tell if the Australian team is up to the challenge as they set their sights on being the best pack in the world.
